How to Leave a Review
Reviews are mandatory on ViyahVogue. Both lenders and borrowers must submit a review before a rental is considered complete – your payout or deposit will not be released until both parties have done so. This ensures there are no outstanding issues on either side before the rental closes.
Your review is also what makes our community marketplace work. Honest, detailed feedback helps other borrowers find great outfits and helps great lenders grow their reputation on the platform.
When to Leave Your Review
You will be prompted to leave your review through the platform after the return has been confirmed in the handover app. Complete it as soon as possible – the sooner both parties submit, the sooner payouts and deposits are released.
What Makes a Great Review
When writing your review, think about these four areas:
The Outfit How accurate was the listing description? Did the colours, fabric and fit match what was shown in the photos and described in the listing?
Communication Was the lender helpful and responsive? Did they answer your questions clearly and in good time before the rental?
The Handover Was the lender punctual? Was the location safe and easy to find? Was the process smooth?
The Inspection How was the experience of checking the outfit together at handover? Did the lender make you feel comfortable and was the process straightforward?
Share Your Photos
We love seeing our community celebrating in their rentals. When leaving your review, consider uploading a photo of yourself wearing the outfit – this is one of the most useful things you can do for future borrowers, as it shows how the garment moves and fits on a real person.
If you’d prefer to stay anonymous, feel free to blur or crop your face – we just want to see the outfit in action.
Honesty and Integrity
We want your honest feedback, including negative experiences. If something wasn’t up to standard, saying so helps us maintain high quality across the platform and gives lenders the opportunity to improve.
That said, we do not tolerate dishonest or retaliatory reviews. We reserve the right to investigate and remove reviews – and potentially suspend platform access – if a review is found to be intentionally misleading or submitted in bad faith.
Safety Concerns
If at any point during your communication or at the handover meeting you felt unsafe, uncomfortable or disrespected, do not wait until your review to flag it. Contact the ViyahVogue team directly at operations@viyahvogue.com. We take all safety reports seriously and will investigate immediately.
A Note for Lenders
Lenders are also required to leave a review for their borrower after every rental. Your payout will not be released until your review has been submitted. Borrowers with a history of positive reviews from lenders find it easier to secure future bookings – your feedback matters to the whole community.
