ToggleIt helps to have the following ready before you begin:
Click “+ New Listing” in the navigation bar at the top of the page. You’ll need to be logged in to access this.
Title Give your listing a clear, descriptive title. If the outfit is by a specific designer or brand, include their name in the title – this helps borrowers searching for that brand find your listing quickly.
Example: “Anarkali Suit – Mehndi / Sangeet – Size 12” or “HSY Bridal Lehenga – Red and Gold”
Category and Occasion Select the most relevant outfit type and occasion from the dropdown menus. Getting this right means your listing appears in the right search results.
Select the colours that best represent your outfit – borrowers can filter by colour so this helps your listing get found.
Then upload your photos. We recommend a minimum of three:
More photos always help. See our full Photo Guidelines for everything you need to know about taking great listing photos.
A good description helps borrowers decide quickly and builds confidence that you’re a trustworthy lender.
Include:
Keep it factual and specific. Borrowers are making a decision based on your words and photos – the more detail you give them, the more confident they’ll feel booking.
Condition Be honest. Select the condition that accurately reflects the outfit’s current state. If there are any imperfections – a small stain, a missing bead, a repaired seam – note them clearly and photograph them too. Honest listings build trust and reduce disputes.
UK Size Add the approximate UK size as a starting point. This is the minimum required – you can add a size without measurements, though we strongly recommend including measurements too.
Measurements South Asian occasion wear often comes in non-standard sizing, is bespoke, or fits differently to high street clothing. Exact measurements give borrowers the confidence to book without needing to ask questions first.
Include measurements in centimetres or inches for:
Use our Measurement Guide if you’re not sure how to measure correctly.
Model’s Height Add your height so borrowers can get a sense of how the outfit’s length will work on them.
Enter your nearest street or area – for example “Brick Lane, E1” or “Didsbury, Manchester.” Borrowers will see this to arrange collection. There’s no need to enter your full address.
This section controls how borrowers can book your outfit. Here’s what each setting means:
Availability – how many days ahead borrowers can book. 60 to 90 days is a good default.
Buffer period – days automatically blocked between bookings to give you time to check and clean the outfit before the next rental. We recommend a minimum of 1 day.
Dates are booked individually – leave this off for standard multi-day rentals. Switch it on if you want borrowers to select single dates only.
Set minimum and maximum range length – controls how short or long a booking can be. You can set a maximum of 25 days.
Exclude days of week – block out days you’re never available for collection or return.
Exclude specific dates – block out individual dates you’re unavailable, such as holidays or dates the outfit is already in use.
Security Deposit – a refundable amount charged alongside the rental fee. Set this to cover potential specialist cleaning, repair costs or non-return. It’s returned to the borrower once the outfit is back safely.
Custom prices – leave this off unless you want to charge different prices for specific date ranges.
Price – your daily rental price in GBP. Borrowers pay this per day, not including the security deposit.
Keep the default settings as they are where possible – they’re set up to work well for most lenders.
Once you’re happy with everything, submit your listing for review. Our team checks every listing before it goes live. We may come back to you with suggestions to improve your listing – this is to help you get more bookings, not to reject your listing.
Following our listing guidelines closely means your listing is more likely to be approved quickly and considered for Featured Listing status.
