The ViyahVogue Handover App is a simple mobile web app that manages the physical exchange of outfits between lenders and borrowers. It guides both parties through the collection and return process step by step, keeps a record of the transaction, and officially starts and ends the rental period.
You don’t need to download anything. The app runs in your phone’s browser.
Access it at: viyahvogue.com/handover

ToggleBoth the lender and the borrower use the app at two points during a rental:
Both parties need to complete their steps in the app for each of these to be recorded officially.
When you arrive at the handover meeting, both the lender and borrower open the app on their phones and log in using their Order ID and ViyahVogue email address.
The app then guides you through the following steps:
1. Booking summary The app displays the booking details – outfit name, rental dates, borrower name and deposit amount. Both parties confirm the details are correct.
2. Inventory checklist Both parties confirm which items are present – the main outfit, dupatta, belt, jewellery, bag and any other listed accessories. The main outfit is required. Other items are ticked off as present or noted as absent.
3. Condition notes Both parties note any existing marks, stains or imperfections they both agree are present before the handover. This creates a shared record of the outfit’s condition at the point of collection.
4. Evidence confirmation Both parties confirm they have taken photos and video of the outfit at handover and saved these to their own devices. ViyahVogue does not store these – they are held by each party and can be provided as evidence if a dispute is raised.
5. ID verification (borrowers) The lender photographs the borrower’s valid photo ID through the app. The image is sent securely to the ViyahVogue operations team. It is not stored in the app or shared between parties.
6. Completion Both parties confirm the handover is complete. The rental period officially begins.
At the end of the rental, both the lender and borrower open the app again to complete the return.
The process mirrors the collection flow:
Once both parties have confirmed the return and submitted their mandatory reviews, this triggers the release of the lender’s payout and the return of the borrower’s security deposit, subject to any dispute. Reviews must be submitted by both parties before the rental is considered complete.
If something has gone wrong – damage to the outfit, a missing item, or a safety concern – the app has options for flagging this:
Report an issue – submits a dispute report to the ViyahVogue operations team with details of the problem. Both parties will be contacted.
Safety concern – if you have a safety concern about the meeting or the other party, use this option to contact us immediately.
